Who I am

Obsidian Echo LLC is a SME AI implementation practice based in California. Contact Thomas Burling at thomas@obsidianecho.com.

Information you provide

Consultation inquiries collect your name, email, optional organization, selected topic, and description. Resource requests collect your name, email, optional company, requested resource, and whether you opt in to updates. Form submissions also include submission timestamps and may include technical information used by the hosting provider for spam prevention.

How I use it

Inquiry details are used to evaluate and respond to your request. Resource details are used to record your download request. A short-lived, essential access cookie lets your browser download the requested PDF for one hour. I send resource updates only when you choose that option. Downloading a guide does not subscribe you to sales outreach. I do not sell or rent the information you submit or share it with third parties for their marketing.

Service providers

Netlify hosts the public website and processes forms on my behalf. My email provider processes email correspondence. Hosting providers may collect standard server logs. This website does not run advertising trackers.

Website analytics

I use Google Analytics to understand visits, pages viewed, referral sources, browser and device information, resource signup and download activity, and interactions with the AI architecture explorer and consultation links. Google Analytics uses cookies and processes technical visit information. I do not send names, email addresses or form contents to Analytics. Google signals and advertising personalization are disabled in my site configuration. You can block Analytics through your browser or use Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Retention and choices

I retain information as needed to handle your request, maintain the updates list you joined, or meet legal and accounting obligations. You may request access, correction, deletion, or removal from updates by emailing Thomas. Opting out of updates does not prevent you from accessing a guide.

Changes

I may update this policy as the website changes. The effective date above identifies this version.
